They say history is cyclical, although I prefer to say it spirals. That is, things do indeed come around, but at another level. This may be the case with ancient medicine, which, for a variety of reasons, is clawing its way back into healthcare contention in new, old and hybrid incarnations.
The one rather obvious reason for the survival of natural healing traditions is that, despite all the many - mostly contrived - claims that it doesn't work, experience continues to show many, it does indeed work. Now let's examine the many reasons behind the resurgence in ancient medical knowledge in the quantum era.
Follow The Money...
Somewhat suspiciously, the negative claims against natural healing have come primarily from 'pharma' funded sources - i.e. those who stand to gain by the demise of rival healthcare traditions. Yet despite the best efforts of 'Big Pharma' to convince you not to believe - you can't beat the actual experience of natural healing. Many experience this and share by word of mouth. This has helped maintain natural traditions by actual success and organic communication, i.e. by sheer virtue.
Blinded by the Science...
A clever ploy used against natural healing traditions was the whole 'placebo effect' phenomenon. 'They' claimed that the natural ability of belief to control disease and build health was all their was to natural healing traditions. It was quackery and snake oil, they explained at every opportunity.
Had health truly been the priority, no doubt they would have embraced the placebo effect and hailed it as a new super-tool in wellbeing. Despite all this, many of the more enlightened healthcare professionals - from doctors all the way to orderlies, consciously or unconsciously, continue to use kindness, reassurance 'spin' and even actual placebo treatments, to assist patients in their healing.
You Can't Keep a Good Healer Down
Another factor keeping the natural health candle burning, has been the inbuilt healing intentions of genuine healers, many of whom will not participate in pharma style medicine - and/or it's carefully curated system - by principle or by conscience.
The 'healer' archetype is driven simply by a desire to heal and cannot easily be suppressed. Many would argue that the burning of witches was ultimately driven - or at least encouraged - by those financial interests serving the incoming University Certificated - i.e. licensed - physician/doctor system.
The Quantum Factor
Another key reason for the resurgence in natural healing is the current paradigm shift emerging from a novel branch of physics known as quantum mechanics. The counter-intutive reality found in the subatomic realm has blossomed into many other branches of science, including quantum biology and more recently, quantum medicine.
Our previously crude understanding of atoms, imagining them as simple combinations of electrons, neutrons and protons, has been shattered. Each atom is a veritable soup of information with seemingly infinite subtle nuances such as 'spin' state, 'locality' and 'entanglement.' Perhaps enough to sink that vast vessel...?
Time will tell, but from my perspective, the corporate entities within the pharmaceutical industry overplayed their hand with mRNA technology. The dirty secrets behind what was primarily a money grab are gradually emerging. It seems doubtful that any amount of censorship can prevent further awakening from 'the masses' in this arena.
Narrative Collapse
Finally, a hugely powerful influence in the comeback of natural healing has been the internet and social media. In a world where almost anyone can communicate with almost anyone, suppressing extremely contested and truth bearing information has become nigh impossible. The word of mouth effect amplified a millions times - a force difficult to reckon with even for the overlords with their almost limitless resources.

'Allopathy,' the treatment of symptoms with no addressing of root causes, is a poor medical/health model, seemingly based on sound science, but actually based on manipulated information with profit as the goal. Allopathic medicine will be stripped down to its few success cases, such as emergency care, and those remnants will be absorbed into the emerging, holistic health reality. The primary obstacle to this outcome is the usual story - the incumbents don't want to allow the disruptive model to flourish at their cost. It does appear that that game is no longer effective and not even the resources available to those grand players will be sufficient to prevent the much needed and delayed paradigm shift.
